English Bride Arrives in U.S.

Mrs. Jean Hash

Mrs. Jean Hash, from Birmingham, England, climbs a ladder aboard the Army Transport Willard A. Holbrook upon arrival in New York, August 17. Mrs. Hash is bound for Richmond, California, the home of her husband, Robert Hash. The transport brought 200 Bristh war brides, 77 children, and 450 servicemen from Southampton, England.
