British War Bride Sued for Divorce

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) Believed the first British war bride to be sued by her American husband for divorce, Mrs. Bridget M. T. Waters appeared for a court hearing today on a separate maintenance suit she filed in the hope of effecting a reconciliation.

The husband, Frank T. Waters, who married her in England in 1944 while he was employed by an aircraft company in North Ireland and she was a nurse in a British hospital, recently sued for divorce. He is a bank teller here.

Bridget Waters arrived by plane on 13 Apr 1946 leaving from Paris, France. She was from Cootehill, Ireland
