English War Bride Arrives in Auburn

AUBURN Another war bride, in the person of Mrs. Mary Brown, wife of Gerald Brown, 13 Steel st., has just arrived in Auburn. Mrs. Brown, who was formerly Miss Mary Gwendolyn Griffin of Birmingham, England, arrived in this country aboard the Queen Mary.

Mrs. Brown told a reporter yesterday that everyone has been so nice to her since her arrival that she certain she is going to like Auburn very much.

Mrs. Brown met her husband at Stratford and they were married in January 1944, in Birmingham. At The time of the marriage, Mr. Brown was a staff sergeant in the Army. About 10 months ago, Brown returned to this country.
