STRANDED WAR BRIDES ON WAY

ROME Guests at Rome Air Field since Friday when the railroad strike resulted in their being stranded in Syracuse, 26 English and Scottish war brides and five babies were scheduled to arrive in St. Louis, Missouri today in a special railroad car they boarded her at 6 pm, Standard Time yesterday.

From St. Louis, the brides and babies, ranging in age from three months to three years will continue their journeys bound for the most part to homes in Texas and Oklahoma.
