Cpl. French Takes Yorkshire Bride

MASSENA – Miss Connie Scarth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Scarth, Middleborough, Yorkshire, England, and Corp. Everard French, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward French, Chase Mills, were married Oct. 2 in Yorkshire, according to word received by the groom’s parents.

The bride expects to come to the United States some time in February or March. She was born and educated in England. The groom was born in Fort Covington and attended schools in Norfolk. He entered service Sept. 24, 1942, and went to England in 1943.
